Terms of Service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Simplified Metrics websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Simplified Metrics ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service
Simplified Metrics is a software-as-a-service platform that helps users view marketing and business metrics in one dashboard. Depending on your plan, the Service may include connecting third-party accounts via OAuth (generally read-only for reporting), displaying metrics and charts, scheduled syncing of aggregated metric snapshots, AI-generated insights and report analysis, email insight digests, exportable reports (PDF and, on eligible plans, DOCX), shareable report links, and multiple workspaces for agency use subject to plan limits.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Some features may be labeled beta, preview, or coming soon.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding your credentials, and all activity under your account.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or clients, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and to connect any third-party accounts you authorize.
3. Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis through Stripe. We may offer a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription may convert to a paid plan and your payment method may be charged.
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge applicable fees, taxes, and renewals. You may cancel through the Service; cancellation generally takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle. If you downgrade, features or workspace limits may be reduced and excess workspaces may become locked or inaccessible until you upgrade.
4. Third-Party Integrations
The Service lets you connect platforms you control. By connecting an integration, you authorize us to access data only as needed to provide the Service, represent that you have the right to grant that access, and agree that third-party terms govern your use of those platforms.
We do not control third-party platforms and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, API changes, or outages. Integrations are intended for reporting and analytics unless clearly stated otherwise.
Connecting Stripe for metrics is separate from your Simplified Metrics subscription billed through Stripe. You may disconnect integrations at any time; stored snapshots may remain until deleted under our retention practices.
5. Agency and Multi-Workspace Use
If your plan includes multiple workspaces, you are responsible for permission to access each client's data, avoiding improper commingling of client data, and how you share exports or report links.
Workspace separation is a product feature and does not replace your client contracts, NDAs, or compliance obligations.
6. Acceptable Use
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.
- Do not use the Service unlawfully or in violation of third-party terms.
- Do not access another user's account or data without authorization.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law.
- Do not upload malware or interfere with Service operation.
- Do not use the Service to store regulated sensitive data unless we agree in writing.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service may use automated systems, including third-party AI providers, to generate insights based on aggregated metrics. AI output may be inaccurate or outdated, is for informational purposes only, and is not financial, legal, tax, or professional advice.
We send relevant data to AI providers only to generate output for you. We do not use your data to train our own models. Third-party AI providers' terms also apply.
8. Reports, Exports, and Share Links
You are responsible for recipients of shared links or exports, revoking access when appropriate, and compliance with obligations to clients and third parties. Share links may be accessible to anyone with the link unless additional controls are provided.
9. Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information. You retain ownership of your data and grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the Service. We use reasonable measures to protect the Service, including encrypting integration credentials at rest, but no system is completely secure.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, excluding your data and third-party content, is owned by Simplified Metrics or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service during your subscription or trial, subject to these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ACCURACY.
We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, accuracy of third-party metrics, or suitability of AI output. Do not rely on the Service as your sole source of truth for billing, tax, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIMPLIFIED METRICS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $100.
13. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Simplified Metrics from claims arising from your use of the Service, your connected integrations or data, your violation of these Terms or law, or your client relationships and sharing of reports or links.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal requirement, or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete account data after a reasonable retention period except where retention is required by law.
15. Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance unless law requires otherwise.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Simplified Metrics is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
